By creating an account, uploading content, purchasing licences, or otherwise using SoundSeam, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in certain jurisdictions) to use SoundSeam. If you are using the platform on behalf of an entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Access

• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
• You must not impersonate others or provide false information.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or show signs of fraud, abuse, or infringement.

4. Content Ownership & Licensing

A. Your Content

• You retain full ownership of all content you upload.
• You grant SoundSeam a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your content on the platform.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any uploaded beats, artwork, or files.

B. Collaborations

• Collaborator splits must be accurate and based on mutual consent.
• Tracks will remain unsellable until all collaborators confirm or create an account.

C. Platform Licences

• Buyers receive usage rights per the licence selected at checkout.
• You must clearly define licence terms, permitted usage, and restrictions.
• SoundSeam is not liable for disputes due to vague or incorrect licence definitions.

5. Platform Fees & Payouts

• Free users pay a 30% platform fee per sale. Paid users keep 100% (minus processor fees).
• Payouts are handled by Stripe, PayPal, or Rapyd depending on your settings.
• Collaborator splits are handled automatically by SoundSeam based on the defined shares.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

• Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled before renewal.
• Downgrading may limit access to features or uploaded tracks.
• Refunds are discretionary and usually only for service errors or accidental charges.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use SoundSeam to:

• Upload infringing or unauthorized content
• Engage in fraud, spam, or manipulation
• Post abusive, hateful, or obscene material
• Exploit or reverse engineer the platform

Violations may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.

8. Disclaimers

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Your use of SoundSeam is at your own risk.
• We are not liable for lost revenue, corrupted files, or buyer disputes unless directly caused by our negligence.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the new Terms. Major changes will be communicated via email or platform alerts.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these Terms or risks community safety.

11. Governing Law
