Delete your SoundSeam account

Request deletion

Email us from the address associated with your SoundSeam account. Say that you want your account and associated personal data deleted. Do not send your password or verification codes. We will verify your request before taking action.

You can use this email route if you have uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or cannot use automatic deletion. If you cannot access the account email, explain that in your message so we can help verify ownership.

What happens next

We confirm ownership and explain any information we need to retain. The automated flow, when available, starts in Profile → Delete account in the mobile app or Security in web settings. Its confirmation link expires after 24 hours. Confirmation hides the account, signs you out, and starts subscription cancellation.

Confirmed automated requests have a 30-day recovery window before permanent-deletion processing is scheduled. Processing can take longer where unresolved payments, shared-project ownership, provider erasure, or legal obligations need review. Contact the email above for progress or help. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account.

What is removed and retained

Deletion covers your sign-in identity, personal profile details, eligible private projects and uploaded files, and linked activity data. Shared projects require review to protect other collaborators; tell us if your request concerns content in a shared project.

Purchase, licence, financial, dispute, security, and legally required records may be retained. Files promised to purchasers remain available to those purchasers. De-identified statistics may remain. Provider records and backups follow separate retention rules; some protected file backups do not currently expire automatically.
