Why I Built SoundSeam
It All Started With Genius
Genius breakdowns. That’s what pulled me in.
Watching producers deconstruct the beats behind songs I loved. It lit something in me. Like thousands of other kids in 2018, I binge-watched every breakdown I could find.
Then I started making beats of my own. And once I started making beats, I couldn’t stop making samples. Melody loops. Chords. Ideas.
I Was in Class, But I Wasn’t There
One week into university, I knew it wasn’t for me.
I’d spend lectures editing YouTube tutorials. I’d spend breaks arranging the guitar I recorded that morning.
Music was the only thing I wanted to do.
I was obsessed. I wanted to make it work. To build a life around it.
My First Placement Changed Everything
One day, I opened Instagram and saw something that made me do laps around my sister’s house.
It was the music video for NLE Choppa’s “Exotic.”
My first major placement.
I was over the moon. Grateful. Fired up.
And most of all, I was hungry to do it again.
I Became the Producer I Dreamed Of
I doubled down.
Studio sessions. Late nights. Sample packs. More placements.
I kept going.
Then last year, I wanted to go back to where it all started, posting full beats of my own on YouTube.
But I hit a wall.
Beat Selling Shouldn’t Be This Broken
Uploading a beat in 2024 felt exactly like uploading one in 2018.
Same clunky design. Same outdated flow. Same confusing mess.
Six years. No real progress.
It was clear: producers weren’t getting better tools.
Just more hoops.
So I Built What We All Needed
I built SoundSeam from scratch.
It’s fast. It’s clean.
It’s what I always wished existed when I started.
Everything I hated as a seller, we fixed.
That’s why SoundSeam feels different.
Because it was built differently, from the inside out.
You’re here now because this matters to you.
It matters to me too.
That’s why SoundSeam is the best place to sell beats.
