SoundSeam applies its platform fee according to the plan held by each sale participant when the sale is allocated.
Free participants pay a 5% SoundSeam platform fee on their share of a paid sale. Payment-processing costs remain separate.
Pro participants pay no SoundSeam platform fee and keep 100% of their earnings after payment-processing costs and any other applicable transaction adjustments.
Each participant is evaluated separately. If the owner is Pro and a collaborator is Free, the owner has no SoundSeam platform fee on their share while the collaborator's 5% fee applies to the collaborator's share. The reverse is also true.
Upgrading affects eligible future sales. It does not retroactively recalculate a completed purchase or return a fee already recorded against that sale.
Pro removes the SoundSeam platform fee. It does not remove third-party payment-processing costs, payout-method costs inside Whop, taxes, refunds, disputes, or corrections.
