Prepare audio, artwork, WAV files, and stems

A clean upload package prevents most publishing and fulfilment problems.

Main beat file

SoundSeam accepts WAV or MP3 files up to 200 MB for the initial beat upload. Export the full arrangement from the beginning of the timeline, leave a little headroom, and listen to the exported file before uploading it.

If you begin with MP3, keep a lossless WAV export ready. The MP3 can power playback and the MP3 tier, but a separate WAV is required for licence tiers that promise WAV delivery.

Artwork

Use a clear square image in JPEG, PNG, or WebP format. Avoid tiny text near the edges because cards crop differently across phone and desktop layouts.

If SoundSeam says the image is unreadable, export a fresh copy from your image editor instead of only renaming the extension.

Stems

Put all stems in one ZIP archive. A useful package has:

• files that all begin at the same timestamp
• clear names such as Drums, Bass, Piano, Lead, and FX
• the same sample rate and bit depth
• no missing buses that materially change the mix
• an optional text file with tempo, key, and session notes

SoundSeam uses the ZIP to enable Trackout, Unlimited, and Exclusive delivery. Uploading separate audio files instead will not enable those tiers.

Before publishing

Reopen your exports locally and verify that they are not silent, clipped, truncated, or corrupt. Confirm that you control the rights to the music and disclose any third-party samples in the editor.
