Write metadata that helps artists find your beat

SoundSeam search can use more than a title. Accurate metadata gives browse, search, similar-beat, and conversational discovery better evidence.

Describe the sound, not the sales pitch

Use a title that is memorable and readable. Put search context in the description and tags:

• genre and subgenre
• mood and energy
• important instruments
• tempo feel
• vocal space
• one or two honest artist or song references
• intended use, such as hook-driven rap, R&B vocals, or film tension

Avoid repeating the same keyword in every field. Do not tag an artist, genre, or instrument that a listener would not recognize in the beat.

Verify automatic analysis

SoundSeam can suggest tempo and key, but you should confirm them by ear or in your session. Correct metadata builds buyer trust and improves matching.

A useful description mentions arrangement, feeling, and what is included. Disclose third-party samples and make licence availability obvious.
